Dental Hygiene Center

Located on the first floor in the A wing of the college's Central Park Campus in McKinney, the Dental Hygiene Center houses a clinic, reception room, radiology darkroom and laboratory. Through expert faculty, a fully equipped laboratory and clinical facility, the Dental Hygiene Center creates an environment for students to gain professional experience and provides quality dental hygiene services to community members, college employees and students. Appointments are required to receive dental hygiene care. Approximately two and one half hours should be allowed for each appointment. Multiple appointments will be needed for adults.

Patients should be prepared to pay at their first appointment with cash or a personal check. Fees are set for each procedure, regardless of the number of appointments required to complete each procedure.

The Dental Hygiene program at Collin County Community College has been awarded exemplary status by the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board and is accredited by The Commission on Dental Accreditation, American Dental Association (ADA).

Dental hygiene is a two-year program that begins in the fall semester of each year. Graduates of the program are awarded an Associate of Applied Science degree in Dental Hygiene. Classes are scheduled at the Central Park Campus in McKinney. Enrollment is limited and admission is competitive.
