How do I earn Tech Prep credits?

Students will receive tuition-free college credit for their courses with the following  provisions:

 

 

  1. If you've completed your high scholl College Tech Prep classes with a grade of "B" or better, and successfully passed a Tech Prep end-of-course exam. (Exams apply only to select program areas)

    Then...

    1. Enroll at Collin County Community College and declare a Associate Degree major within 24 months of graduating high school. This major may include your Tech Prep classes in the degree plan.

    2. Take two non-developmental 3-credit courses in order to earn 6 credits.

    3. Complete a Petition for Tech Prep Credit


    4. Bring the Petition and your high school transcript to the Global EDGE office on the Central Park Campus in McKinney. Petitions and transcripts may be mailed to:
