How do my Tech Prep credits get on my college transcript?

STEPS TO RECEIVE CREDIT

If...
You've completed your high school College Tech Prep classes with a grade of "B" or better, and successfully passed a Tech Prep end-of-course exam. (Exams apply only to select program areas)

Then...

Enroll at collin County Community College and declare any associate degree major within 24 months of graduating high school. This major may include your Tech Prep classes in the degree plan.

1. Complete a Petition for Tech Prep Credit, available online or from the college registrar.

2. Bring the petition and your high school transcript to the Global EDGE office on the Central Park Campus in McKinney. Petitions and transcripts may be mailed to:

Final approval of your credits is at the discretion of the Registrar.
