	All College Council Purpose: To address college-wide issues, to support district strategic goals and to promote service, communication and a spirit of community at Collin. How is the committee selected? Twelve members are elected college-wide, seven members are appointed by ACC members and two members are appointed by the president. 	Associate Faculty Committee Purpose: To discuss issues, opportunities and concerns shared by associate faculty members and forward comments, recommendations and proposals to academic leadership for additional consideration and follow-up. 	Banner Executive Steering Committee Purpose: To review recommendations and make decisions regarding the implementation of BANNER, the integrated administrative software system. How is the committee selected? Appointments are comprised of the data owners for each of the major administrative systems, including Student, Financial Aid, Finance, Human Resources, and Information Technology. 	Banner Process Team Leaders Group Purpose: To study and make recommendations regarding processes related to implementation of the individual components of BANNER. How is the committee selected? 	Calendar Committee Purpose: To develop the master calendar for the upcoming academic year. How is the committee selected? Interested faculty and staff may volunteer. Contact Person: Stephanie Meinhardt (SCC, x5847)
	Center for the Advanced Study of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (CASMNS) Advisory Board Purpose: To discuss curriculum and research projects for advanced mathematics and science students. 	Center for Scholarly and Civic Engagement (CSCE) Committee Purpose: Expand pedagogies of civic engagement; increase service-learning in multiple disciplines and within academic programs; enhance current service-learning practice and promote active collaboration among academic programs and academic student organizations. 	Council on Excellence Purpose: To promote academic excellence through professional development for faculty, peer review and coordination of the Minnie Stevens Piper nominee selection process. Also, to monitor faculty presentations after research from study grants are completed. How is the committee selected? The members are elected through vote by full-time peer faculty. 	Curriculum Advisory Board Purpose: To advise/recommend approval of academic and technical course/program changes to the vice president of Academic Affairs in accordance with Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board (THECB) policy. 	Data Standards and Quality Assurance Committee Purpose: To systematically monitor and improve data quality in Collin’s administrative software system. How is the committee selected? 	Disciplinary Appeals Committee Purpose: To hear and address student appeals regarding disciplinary rulings by the dean of students. How is the committee selected? Appointed by the president. Contact Person: Bill Blitt, (PRC, x1730)
	Faculty Council Purpose: To be the representative voice of the full-time faculty in shared governance of the College. How is the committee selected? The members are elected through vote by full-time peer faculty. Contact Person: Peggy Brown (SCC, x5808)
	Financial Aid Appeals Committee Purpose: To hear and review petitions from students requesting reconsideration for financial aid assistance. How is the committee selected? Appointed by the director of Financial Aid and Veteran Affairs. Contact Person: Debra Wilkison (SCC, x5761)
	Grade Appeals Board (GAB) Purpose: To hear student petitions for grade changes; and to make recommendations to the vice president/provosts. How is the committee selected? Appointed by the vice president/provosts. Contact Person: Juanita Austin (SCC, x5721)
	Honors Council Purpose: To support Honors activities and recruitment, to recommend curriculum for Honors courses, to support the Honors Institute Chair and assist with any projects of the Institute as requested by the Chair. 	Institutional Review Board Purpose: To review and make decisions regarding requests for studies to be conducted within the college involving human subjects. How is the committee selected? Appointed by the vice president/provosts. Contact Person: Dr. Chris Doumen (SCC, x5989)
	Leadership Team Purpose: To conduct executive-level planning, analysis, and discussions regarding administrative matters affecting the college, and to make recommendations regarding college policies, procedures and guidelines. 	Learning Communities Committee Purpose: To advise, implement and assess the Learning Communities Program at Collin. How is the committee selected? Appointed by dean of Social and Behavioral Sciences. Contact Person: Toni Jenkins (PRC, x1551)
	Online Advisory Board Purpose: The OAB reviews online courses to ensure that they meet the same standards of quality and rigor as defined for onsite courses. OAB members are Collin College faculty who teach online, and each division is represented by a faculty member. How is the committee selected? Academic Deans recommend one faculty member per division. 	Quality Enhancement Plan Advisory Committee Purpose: To review QEP outcomes and make decisions regarding the implementation of the quality enhancement plan. How is the committee selected? 	Refund Petition Committee Purpose: To review petitions from students requesting exceptions to the state mandated refund policy. How is the committee selected? Appointed by the Dean of Academic Advising and Student Success. Contact Person: Stephanie Meinhardt, (SCC, x5174)
	Retention Council Purpose: To develop and oversee the implementation of Collin retention plan. How is the committee selected? Members appointed by academic deans. Contact Person: Gary Hodge , (SCC, x5897) or Nick Geller, (PRC x1674)
	Sabbatical Committee Purpose: To evaluate sabbatical leave proposals and make recommendations to the appropriate vice president. How is the committee selected? Elected by eligible staff and faculty. Contact Person: TBD
	Scholarship Committee Purpose: To promote the Collin Foundation Scholarship Program; and to select Collin Foundation scholarship recipients. How is the committee selected? Appointed by the executive director of the Collin Foundation. Contact Person: Mary Frazier (CYC, x3143)

	Student Activity Fee Advisory Committee Purpose: To administer the compulsory student activity fees in accordance with the Texas Education Code, sections 54.503 and 54.5031.
